WITCH Neflix Series Should You Watch?

Were you witching for a great Netflix series to watch?

This list is a representation of what the Witches in MacBeth would love to watch, and what they would want you to watch as well. A vast variety of shows are presented in a representation of who exactly the Witches are. Even though the witches are of a great mystery, there is no mystery that they foresee an enjoyable Netflix shows for you to see. Here is a list of four, in no particular order, that they know will soon be in your Neflix archive.


1) Criminal Minds:
The witches suggest and persuade MacBeth's  murderous future, playing with his mind. This "criminal mind" is exactly what the craziest witches in Scotland are all about. Criminal Minds is a representation of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, a part of the FBI, in which a team of profilers solve chains of crimes by setting themselves in the mindset of the offender who has committed them. Using evidence, the team can draw comparisons to how this crime may have taken place and how they might track the "unidentified suspect" to the victim in the case. This show is parallel to how the Witches act in persuading MacBeth to kill King Duncan. The three sisters get into the mindset of MacBeth, by using their supernatural abilities to strike fear but also determination in MacBeth to kill the King. The Witches can tap in to their intelligent nature and grab the brain of MacBeth, twisting it to fit their motives. This mental consideration and analysis of people is exactly how the BAU unit solves cases in Criminal Minds, and this relationship is why the Witches would recommend this thrilling show.


2) Gossip Girl:
This may be of a surprise to some but the Witches are a sucker for teenage, immature, drama. Gossip Girl, showcases the weird satisfaction to see everything randomly coming crashing down. This is what the Witches so love to see, obviously death is a little more serious than gossip, but the idea of having everything becoming disastrous is what the Witches enjoy. To control the actions of individuals by mind games is a prevalent theme in Gossip Girl. In this youth drama, countless individuals send in tips on the fresh new gossip that revolves around the millennial generation of "Manhattan's Elite". A struggle for control in the 21st century society draws great comparisons to how the Witches of Scotland deem themselves necessary to control the fate of MacBeth's murderous path to the throne. Therefore, this show gains great praise from the Witches that just love playing games.

3) American Horror Story:
The Netflix series that that has the aim to strike fear into its' viewers, is one that the Witches hold dear to their heart. Alike the fear that is struck into the heart of MacBeth by the Witches, American Horror Story is a compilation of seasons that offer physical and psychological consequences to the audience and individuals that are in the show. These consequences are the among the result from the actions in asylums and haunted houses from clowns, or you guessed it: witches. The love of this show from the Witches is the joy to see themselves on another stage. The Witches are conceded supernatural characters that have a lasting effect on the audience, controlling the fate in MacBeth. This is why American Horror Story is a title that is recommended by the Witches, to see their fellow specimens in action with a multitude of frightening characters.

4) Pretty Little Liars:
Another story that reflects upon the petty nature and personality of the Witches is Pretty Little Liars. Pretty Little Liars is a Television Show, like Gossip Girl, which represents a dramatized lifestyle of teenagers. This show, however, showcases the contrasting lives of teenage girls living in a society that crumbles after a teenage girl, Alison, goes missing. The over-exaggerated, confusing, endless, drama is what encompasses the nature of the Witches in MacBeth. The unorganized mess in the lives of these girls in Pretty Little Liars is a show that the Witches deem captivating. The three Witches' manipulate the character, MacBeth, just how the four girls in Pretty Little Liars aim to manipulate and control every person they come in contact with to try to find their lost best friend. This show that is of strange and confusing twists, reflects upon the mysterious nature that floats around the Witches' character traits. Thus, a profound approval is of the series, Pretty Little Liars, and is a must watch for  any fan of the Witches.

In getting to know someone I believe it is important to understand what shows they watch on Netflix. Therefore, to understand the Witches in MacBeth, it is important to know that Neflix shows of great mystery, physiological qualities, and hidden meanings are dear to their dark hearts. The sly nature and mental games can be seen throughout these shows and is what truly represents the reality of the character.

3. Do you believe events in your life have been guided by fate or chance? Why or why not? Based on the text, what do you think Shakespeare's attitude was towards fate? Does Macbeth have any choice in his actions or was everything predetermined? Use examples from the text as your support.


I believe that the events in my life have been guided by fate. Throughout this guided fate driven life I know that I have had to make choices on the direction of some events, however, I believe that most of my life has been decided by fate. I did not have a choice of what family I was born into or where in the world I was born. However, I have made choices that have created relationships and have set myself up with where I am today. These choice have been influenced by fate and who I have had the opportunity to meet or interact with in events. Though, fate is not the only thing that has ultimately delivered me to where I am at in my life. I have the choice of to do this homework or to do well in classes This determines where I might go to college or where I may find a job. However, I believe that even though these choices may vary, my final destination has already been determined by fate. The choices I make only delay or vary how I arrive to where fate has decided for me to end up. I believe that Shakespeare would mostly agree with my perspective on fate.  This is based on how the witches announce that MacBeth will be Thane of Cawdor. However, MacBeth's choice to have Banquo killed was not included in the witches announcement. This is an example of how MacBeth used choices to vary some of the fate, however, he still ultimately is the Thane of Cawdor and killed Duncan to become the Thane. This is why I believe that Shakespeare shares my belief system on how choices may alter the direction and way someone may ultimately arrive to their fate that has already been decided for them. One of the only things that I wish my fate to be is that I live in happiness, I am not worried on how this path to happiness may be but I wish to have happiness in the end. This is my own personal goal and will to have a fate that ends in this way.
